BBM2 - Call for posts

Hi folks,

Just wanted to answer a few questions I've been asked, easier to do it here. :)

There is no deadline for your post, I'm going to wait and get everyone's before I do a round-up. I'm guessing that'll put a roundup in the second week of October.

You can either send me a link to your post by email, or put it in the comments below. If you email it to me, please put 'BBM2 - Roundup' in the subject line so I can find it fast. And if you don't have a blog, just email me with the same subject line.

Hmmm, I think that's it for now. I've seen alot of the posts about packages, and everything looks great so far!

I can't wait to see the packages people posted about. This round was huge.
For convenience, mine can be found http://bakingsheet.blogspot.com/. Thanks for hosting a great round, Sam!

Hi Samantha, my BBM2 can be found here: http://fabulouscheesebabe.blogspot.com/2005/10/blogging-by-mail2.html

Thanks for hosting!

Hi! Here's mine: http://knittedandpurled.blogspot.com/

Thanks for being such a great hostess. This was lots of fun.

Here's my link: http://mylittlekitchen.blogspot.com/2005/10/blogging-by-mail-special-delivery-from.html

Thanks so much for hosting Sam - you did a great job!

Do you know if my swap partner got mine? they havnt posted anything. thx

Hi Samantha,

I'm still waiting for my package but I'll write a post as soon as I'll receive it. My own package that I sent seems be travelling, even though I sent it 1.5 weeks ago and the post office told me it would take 5 days.

We check http://www.theviewfromhere.net/ everyday to see if our package to Harry and Ziva has arrived but no luck! Posted it on 19 Sept and it's taking a mighty long time getting there! Hope it didn't get lost in the mail!

We're still eagerly awaiting our own package to arrive... :-P

Dear Reid in Hawaii...yours is on your way! Might take another two weeks, the postoffice said it can take(more than) three weeks to get to you....I don't want to send you an email,'cause I don't want to spoil the surprise from where your package will arrive. but you might have guessed by now it comes from far..:-)

My Pal should've gotten theirs by now but he doesn't have a blog. I can't remember if I sent my blog or e-mail address so he could let me know when it arrived. Hope it got there ok!

Still waiting for mine too...

Oopsie!!! wrong date. We posted the package on 21 Sept (Wed).

Curious, how many people actually joined in BBM2?

Haven't gotten mine in yet, but as soon as I do I will send you the link!

Hi Samantha,

I mailed mine out on Monday (10/3) after it was returned due to my filling out the US Customs form incorrectly. *sigh*

To my partner in Sweden, I was told that you should get it in 10 days!

Hi Samantha
Thanks for doing such a GREAT job of organising Blogging by Mail 2 - I really enjoyed both the sending and the receiving! My post on the package I got from Deborah is here:
http://www.bibliocook.com/archives/2005/10/blogging_by_mai_1.html
and my post on what I put in her package is here: http://www.bibliocook.com/archives/2005/09/blogging_by_mai.html

Received a great package of Belgian treats from Eileen. Unfortunately, I don't have a camera, but my post is here:
http://bpwildfire.blogspot.com/2005/10/bbm2.html

Got any indication yet what percentage of packages have arrived? It doesn't seem anything like the 50+ participants that seemed to be on your list.

Better completion with domestic US packages and/or within the EU? Is international customs slowing things down? Is there something we can learn about making packages move more smoothly through customs that would help in the next round?

I don't expect Samantha to have all these answers but maybe together we can put together some helpful thoughts.

hi everyone!
as i don't have my own blog AND i already consumed most of the contents of my package, a short description here will have to do: i received a package from barbara in new zealand. the first item didn't last very long, as we had fun dipping barbara's lemon biscotti into a cup of tea. mmmmmm. there was also a jar of homemade rhubarb/apple jelly. ahhh, nothing like it. Also, never tried before, are dried blueberries, for our health! Some incredibly beautiful self-made note cards with photos of food, which i don't want to use but rather frame; also some herb rub and some dill/onion dip mixes, which we haven't yet tried out, but anticipate....:-)
thanks to barbara in new zealand!
and many thanks to samantha for organizing this!
cheers,
eileen in belgium

Hi Sam,
